EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR (Irl England Award)
Recognizes
outstanding and long-term service to the
administration of curling. Your nomination
could be a Board Member, or an Event Chair, or a
Committee Member.
CURLING PROMOTION AWARD
This
is presented annually to a person who has done
an outstanding job of promoting curling. Is
there a Club member who goes above and beyond to
bring news of current curling events to your
community?
AWARD OF RECOGNITION
Do
you have a person or persons in your Club who
just seem to do everything and anything? Make a
nomination to recognize these valuable people
who provide service at your local Club level and
make it a fun place to be!
OFFICIATING AWARD (Glenn Watson
Award)
Saca
Officials play an integral role in providing
guidance to our competitive players. This award
goes to a developing Official at Level I, II or
III who has the necessary skills to be deemed
competent and is willing to take on all required
duties throughout a competition. This official
has developed a positive relationship with
players and is well respected in the Officiating
role.
MEDIA AWARD
Award
presented to a media person. Recognize someone
who continually promotes curling in your
community for the benefit of both your Club and
local curlers.
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
This
award is open to anyone in your Club who goes
beyond just helping. This is perhaps an active
leader in the Club or someone who works quietly
behind the scenes making sure things happen for
the benefit of the Club and its membership.
INSTRUCTOR AWARD
Recognizes
the outstanding contribution of a person
involved in teaching our sport. Do you know
someone who has undertaken the establishment or
continuation of a Curling Program at your Club?
This certified Instructor provides skilled
instruction in a fun environment that promotes
curling to others. The award recognizes this
person as either a developing Instructor or a
long-time Instructor.
COACH AWARD
This
person is someone who has given countless hours
of themselves towards the development and
enhancement of a team of athletes in any
category. The team has been successful in
competition and could be considered role models
by their peers with respect to their abilities,
sportsmanship and code of conduct on and off the
ice. The coach reflects leadership in the
conduct and skill of the team. This coach is
aware of the necessity of continuing their own
learning in an effort to continue to enhance
their own abilities.

3M Coaching and Fox 40 Sport Official Awards.
The Coaching Association of Canada recognizes the contribution of coaches, administrators and officials working at all levels of sport. Winners receive a $1000 coach education bursary; runners-up receive a $500 bursary and are honoured at the Coaching Awards Dinner.
The Investors Group Community Sport Administrator Award recognizes the contribution to a community sport program made by a dedicated volunteer in a administrative capacity. The winner receives a $1000 Guaranteed Investment Certificate.
